Description

Raja Roy Chowdhury, mostly known by his nickname, Kakababu, is a fictional sleuth character created by Bengali author Sunil Gangopadhyay, that has attained legendary stature in Indian, particularly, Bengali literature. The series, falling under the adventure genre of literature, targeted at children and teenagers, started in the autumn of 1979 with the publication of Bhoyonkor Sundor in Anandamela magazine, puja number. Since then, the series continued for 33 years on popular demand, with over 36 adventure novels in print until the death of the author in 2012.
