Description
The legendary Hindu temple in the two caves alongside the Ramgarh Hill at Sarguja, state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The name of this temples are ‘Jigimara’ and ‘Sitabanga’. There are some texts in the cryptic language above an arch. Some historians have translated it and two names were found in this, one is ‘Sutonuka’ who was a Devdasi. Another was a sculptor, named ‘Debdinna’. Based on this, Narayan Sanyal wrote a love story about Sutonuka and Debdinna. There is explained in the book, Who is Devdasi? How many types are they? How are they converted into Devdasi? A brief discussion about their responsibilities. ‘Sutonuka’ was the first Devdasi of history, which has a clear evidence.
